MCK Dumpster Rental McKinney was started by Roger Whitfield to bring straightforward, dependable roll-off service to McKinney homeowners and contractors. Too many companies made you chase a quote, guess at a size, and hope the truck showed up when it said it would. Roger set out to build the outfit he wished existed — one truck at a time, built on dependability and plain, transparent communication.
That is still the whole mission: to make waste removal easier, cleaner and more responsible for everyone in McKinney. Upfront pricing, eco-conscious disposal, hiring locally, and staying involved in the community we live and work in — that is not marketing language here, it is how the company actually runs day to day. What started with a single truck grew through word of mouth and repeat customers — a contractor telling another contractor, a homeowner telling a neighbor.
What we look like today
We run a fleet of trucks out of the yard on 6785 County Road 166, keep 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 yard containers on the ground, and cover McKinney and the towns spreading out across Collin County — from Historic Downtown McKinney and Adriatica Village to Allen and Frisco.

Why we care about where it ends up
Hauling waste for a living gives you a fairly direct relationship with the consequences. We live here. So we take Texas's waste rules seriously rather than treating them as paperwork, we sort out clean wood, metal, cardboard, concrete and yard waste where the volume justifies it, and we would rather spend five minutes on the phone telling you where an old appliance should go than quietly bury it.

McKinney sits on the Texas blackland prairie about 32 miles north of Dallas, mostly flat to gently rolling ground. Summers here are hot and dry, regularly climbing into the high 90s and low 100s in July and August, while winters stay mild by comparison. Spring is the real weather story — Texas sits squarely in a tornado and severe-thunderstorm corridor, and the wettest, most volatile stretch of the year runs roughly April through June. When a storm rolls through and half the neighborhood is dealing with downed limbs and storm debris, that is exactly when we work hardest to keep containers moving — storm cleanup calls get pushed toward the front of the schedule, and we would rather be busy after a storm than have a neighbor stuck with a yard full of debris and no way to clear it.

What happens to the material after pickup?
It is weighed, then sorted where the load makes sorting worthwhile — clean wood, scrap metal, cardboard, clean concrete and yard waste get diverted rather than landfilled. Everything else goes to a permitted disposal facility. Materials restricted from ordinary Texas landfill disposal are separated out and routed to the right facility.
